LEWISTON — The wedding of Sandy Barnies and Jason Luna was held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 3 at the First Assembly of God Church. Pastor Donald Cougle officiated at the ceremony. A ceremonial reading was given by Ethan Gagnon, fiance of the maid of honor.
Mrs. Luna is the daughter of Sandra Hersom of Lewiston. Mr. Luna is the son of Belinda Woodsome of Lake Wales, Fla., and the late Ruben Luna.
The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Eugene Camp, wore an ivory satin gown embroidered with pearls, sequins and rhinestones and she carried a bouquet of white stock, cream roses, cream spray roses, white carnations, freesia and white button poms.
Briana Barnies, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Gregoire and Amy Bonilla, sisters of the bride.
Serving as best man for his brother was Kevin Giguere. Ushers were Scott Gregoire, brother-in-law of the bride, and Dan Jordan, friend of the bridegroom. Carter Gregoire, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston.
The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and Andover College. She is employed at EIM in Lewiston.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed as a mechanic.
