LEWISTON — The Lewiston High School Class of 1963 recently observed its 50th reunion with a weekend celebration. On a Saturday evening, 135 students and guests gathered at Martindale Country Club, Auburn, where they enjoyed a social hour, followed by a buffet meal, and danced to the music of Nick Knowlton.
A silent auction was held and the proceeds donated to the Franklin Pasture Sport Complex Fundraising Campaign.
A breakfast brunch was served Sunday at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston. A tour of this beautiful facility was provided so that those coming from out of town and others not familiar with this venue had the opportunity to learn of its historical significance and see the renovations that have taken place.
The Sunday brunch offered an opportunity to socialize in a relaxed setting and allowed classmates to catch up with friends, many they hadn’t seen in years.

The funds are being donated by the class to the Franklin Pasture Sports Complex Fundraising Campaign that has established a goal of raising $5 million. The Class of 1963 would like to challenge alumni as well as other classes to contribute now or consider raising funds during an upcoming reunion for the project.
