MINOT — The Minot Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Town Office.

Local historian Douglas Hodgkin will speak on his book, “When Presidents and Hopefuls came to Town.”

The Junior History Club will have a book signing prior to the meeting at 6 p.m. on the book they have published, “William Ladd.”

The society met on Oct. 8 with Candace Kanes from the Maine Memory Network. She explained the many benefits of using this as a resource.
