PARIS — Police are investigating a car crash on Oxford Street that injured a 35-year-old woman Thursday evening.
On Friday, Paris police Chief Michael Madden said rescue crews responded to Oxford Street shortly before 6 p.m. for a report of a 2001 silver Volvo that crashed into a tree. The woman driving was transported to Stephens Memorial Hospital with minor injuries from the air bag deployment, he said.
Because an investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, police are withholding the woman’s name.
The vehicle was heavily damaged and towed from the scene.
