AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County will host a program at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, led by Suzanne Sullivan of the Auburn Public Library. Sullivan will discuss the book “Seed of Sarah” and the life of its author, Judith Isaacson, during the Holocaust.

This program will take place at the historic Horatio and Ella Foss house, 19 Elm St., and is open to the public. Members are encouraged to bring guests. Admission is free but donations are accepted. This month a charitable collection of nonperishable goods is being collected for the Good Shepherd Food-Bank.

Organized in 1892, the Woman’s Literary Union is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to further the intellectual, cultural and educational advancement of its members and the community, and preserve the nationally registered Horatio Foss Mansion.
