SABATTUS — The Sabattus American Legion Harry Conway Post 135 will be preparing care packages to be mailed to military members from Maine who are deployed overseas.

Items can be dropped off at the post, 40 Island Road, on Tuesdays during cribbage from 6 to 8 p.m. or Fridays from 6 to 11 p.m.

The Auxiliary will be putting the packages together for mailing at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20. Volunteers are welcome to help with packaging the items for shipment.
