Grief recovery support group
WILTON — GriefShare, a grief recovery support group, begins at Calvary Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, Jan. 5, and ends on Sunday, March 23. It will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
GriefShare is a nondenominational group and features video seminars on grief and recovery topics for those grieving the death of someone close. Call Jane Bullock at 645-2282 for details.
Free Thanksgiving dinner
READFIELD — A free Thanksgiving dinner and fellowship event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at United Methodist Church of Readfield, Route 17. Come for a meal or for dessert.
There will be cribbage games, UNO and other fun games for the entire family.
Homemakers Craft Fair
WILTON — Shop local at the third annual Wilton Day Homemakers Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at St. Luke’s Church on High Street.
There will be baked goods, lunch, white elephant table, raffles, knitting, sewing, crocheting. tatting, woodworking, jewelry and more.

Mt. Abram H.S. craft fair Dec. 14
SALEM — Mt. Abram High School is in need of crafters for its annual craft fair, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14.

FARMINGTON — The Veterans’ Advocate will be available from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Municipal Building.
College Ready: free event Dec. 4
LIVERMORE FALLS — Spruce Mountain Adult and Community Education is offering a free, public event at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Adult Education Center, 25 Cedar St. (the former Spruce Mountain High School, South Campus).
The program is grant funded and offered as part of the College Ready programming. College Ready assists adults who want to prepare for college by improving skills in English, math and computer.
Guest speaker will be Janet Smith from Women, Work and Community. She will discuss the free programs for aspiring college students or those returning to school offered by Women, Work and Community. In addition, she will provide information about other WWC programs concerning career, small business or finance.

FMH food sale, craft fair Dec. 6
FARMINGTON — Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold a food sale and craft fair from 8 a.m. until gone, on Friday, Dec. 6, at FMH Bass Room. The event is open to the public.
Keep Me Warm supper is Dec. 7
FAYETTE — The next Keep Me Warm supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Fayette School.
There will be beans, casseroles, salads, desserts and drinks.
The guest entertainer for the evening will be Paul Bright. Enjoy holiday music.
Carlene raffles will also have a special table for children to purchase small items.
