When lovable but insecure Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism he sees during the Christmas season, Bossy Lucy suggests he find some holiday spirit and direct the school Christmas play. Charlie Brown accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating struggle. Through friendship, and a much needed reminder, Charlie Brown and the gang learn the true meaning of Christmas. This play with its gentle humor combines the classic Christmas special with many other Peanuts vignettes along with the classic jazz music of Vince Guaraldi.
Doors open one hour before show times for seating, social, and holiday snacks and drinks. Shows are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15.
