Key losses: Haylee Cote (guard), Sammie Wilkins (guard), Michele Dehetre (guard).
Promising newcomers: Juniors — Sara Carder (5-7 guard), Crystal MacLean (5-8 guard); Freshmen — Skye Conley (5-9 center), Alicia Dumont (5-7 guard), Izzie Detroy (5-8 forward), Grace Kariotis (5-7 guard).
Outlook: The Patriots lost three regulars, including Cote, a WMC all-star. With Greaton out of action until January with an injury, Valente is the only returning starter. She’s a two-time All-Conference player. Martell, Ferguson and Adams will see increased roles this season after being regulars a year ago. Gray-NG will have some growing pains, but the Patriots have enough talent and experience to win some games.
