Outlook: With just two seniors and a junior, the Lakers will once again have one of the youngest teams in the conference. Larochelle, who played at Winslow and Thomas College in the 1980s, is focusing on the fundamentals and improving everyone’s basketball acumen. Once they get that down, he’ll move on to the intricacies of his motion offense and full-court, man-to-man defense. The Lakers hope to get to the point where effort and playing sound fundamental basketball makes the consistently competitive as they continue to build for the future.
