Coach: Tom Danylik (second year)

Last year’s record: 13-7, lost Western B semifinal

Returning letter-winners: Juniors — Caleb Gauvin (6-2 center), Tom Marshall (5-10 guard), Brad Marshall (6-0 forward).

Key loses: Adam Volkernick (guard), Dominic Haines (guard), Jacob Theriault (guard), Ryan Nicols (guard), Ryan Stickney (center), Sean Murphy (guard).

Promising newcomers: Juniors — Andrew Cote (5-11 forward/guard), Jordan Pilgrim (6-2 center), Cody Cunningham (5-9 guard); Sophomores — Ryley Flynn (5-6 guard), Alex Ridley (5-7 guard), Curtis Steele (5-7 guard); Freshmen — Zach Duguay (5-8 guard/forward), Sam Nadeau (6-0 guard/forrward).

Outlook: The Falcons go from 10 seniors to none this year, so while Danylik hesitates to use the dreaded “rebuilding” term, he does acknowledge that this will be a learning year. Gauvin is a true back-to-the-basket center and Danylik wants the offense to work inside-out through him. They hope to be physical and tough enough to wear down opponents in the paint.
