Coach: Mike Adams (13th year)

Last year’s record: 17-3, lost Eastern A semifinal

Returning letterwinners: Seniors — Salad Sheik (6-3 center), Anthony Garand (5-10 guard); Junior — Lew Jensen (6-5 forward), Kaleb Main (6-2 forward), Luke Sterling (5-9 guard), Ian Mileikis (6-1 guard), Elijah Roe (6-2 forward).

Key loses: Quin Leary (6-2 forward), Sean Ford (6-2 forward), Nate Alexander (6-3 forward).

Promising newcomers: Seniors —Andrew Middleton (6-5 forward), Abdi Yonis (5-10 guard); Juniors — Thomas Cedre (5-10 guard), Charles Cedre (5-10 guard); Sophomore — Austin Cox (6-1 forward).

Outlook: Edward Little added Middleton, a talented transfer from Leavitt, but lost Mileikis, its starting point guard, to a broken tibia at the end of football season. Adams said there is an outside chance he could return late in the season, but the starting job is Sterling’s, with Main and Garand expected to help out at the point. Middleton and Jensen are excellent shooters with the length and athleticism to go to the basket or post up. Adams isn’t sure how deep his bench will be, but if the point guard spot solidifies and they play their trademark defense, the Red Eddies could continue to be one of the top teams in Eastern A.
