MONMOUTH — The following events will take place this weekend around town.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, breakfast with Santa at the fire station will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Stuff The Bus will be from 9 a.m. to noon at Cumston parking lot; and the Monmouth Museum will have books on sale at the library from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Also on Saturday will be a presentation, “Gathering Local History in YOUR TOWN,” at 10 a.m. at Cumston Hall and a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the library. “It’s A Wonderful Life” will be presented at 1 p.m. at Cumston Hall. Call 933-9999 for tickets.
Yuletide In A Yurt will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Norris Hill Road and the PTA will hold a sale of baked goods, clothing and more from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at H.L. Cottrell School.
Events on Sunday, Dec. 8, will include caroling at East Monmouth Church at 4 p.m. All are invited.
A community supper will be held at 4 p.m. at Packard Activity Center.
Yuletide In A Yurt will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Norris Hill Road.
