LEWISTON — The Young Professionals of the Lewiston-Auburn Area are offering a seminar, “Potential Unleashed: Identifying Your Personal Strengths,” to be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way. This seminar is open to the public. Cost is $40 per person. Lunch is included. Pre-registration is required by Dec. 19 to allow time to order materials. At this interactive, three-hour workshop, participants will start to look at careers with a new set of lenses.We will discuss the power in knowing personal strengths, identify individual specific strengths using the Clifton Strengths Finder and discuss ways in which we can start using this information to grow both personally and professionally.
Workshop facilitators are Jason-Michael Thompson, branch manager, LaborReady and Heidi Sawyer, field marketing/training coordinator for JobsinTheUS.com.
Included in this course are a copy of Strengths Finder 2.0, a detailed report of personal individual strengths and practical advice on how to incorporate what is learned.
Those attending will need to bring a laptop/tablet (we have a limited number available, please indicate when signing up whether or not you will be bringing your own).
