The $1.4 million addition will allow the 34-year-old company to optimize its manufacturing process, with plans to grow by 30 percent in the next three years, according to Leonard. A host of area business and economic development experts attended the opening, which celebrated a 75 percent expansion of the facility’s footprint. AMI produces advanced textiles for hundreds of extreme temperature industrial/institutional applications throughout the world.
