PARIS — Two people sustained minor injuries when the pickup truck they were in slid off Paris Hill Road and into a brook Tuesday night.
The driver, Elissa Dyer, 20, of Bethel and passenger, Michael Church, 20, of Sumner, were transported to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway for minor injuries sustained, Paris police Sgt. Jeffrey Lange said.
The Ford F-150 was traveling east shortly before 9 p.m. when it slipped off the road and landed front-end first in the stream that runs through a recently-installed box culvert.
The vehicle was considered a total loss, Lange said.
