FARMINGTON — An Industry man was injured Wednesday morning when his car slid off  Route 43, crashed through a snowbank and rolled at least twice, police officer Justin Blais said.

Paul Mullin, 54, received head lacerations and was treated at the scene by a NorthStar EMS ambulance crew, Blais said.

Mullin was driving up a hill from Industry and had passed the Clearwater Veterinary Clinic when he saw oncoming traffic. He tried moving to the right for safety, Blais said.

Mullin felt the Subaru Outback slide and overcorrected. The car went through the snowbank, rolled and landed 50 feet from the road, the officer said.

Mullin was able to walk to the ambulance but he declined to go to a hospital, Blais said. Mullin’s wife came to the scene and took him home, he said.

Farmington firefighters directed traffic and assisted at the scene in 14-degree weather.
