BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Ladies Coffee Cup Devotions is Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 9 a.m. Fellowship Sunday will be on Sunday, Jan. 19, and there will be a luncheon following the morning service. The annual business meeting will be Monday, Jan. 20.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Carrie Jackson and also to the family of John (Jack) Bates.
The Woodstock Historical Society will be meeting at the Town Conference Room on Saturday, Jan. 11, for a regular meeting at 6 p.m., weather permitting. Following the business meeting the program will be Oxford County’s “Barnum,” Ezra Stephens. The public is welcome to attend and learn about this very interesting character from the late 1800s.
Judith Grover Tent 17, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, will meet on Monday, Jan. 13, at the home of Alice Hoyt. Installation of officers will be held at this meeting.
The exercise class held at the library will be starting again on Jan. 9, at 10 a.m. This is led by Nancy Willard.
There will be no program at Whitman Memorial Library in January. The library is still open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Senior Citizens meeting was cancelled for the month of January.
We had a wonderful Christmas with our family. We had 15 for the tree and dinner and then some of my sister’s family and my sister joined us for exchange of gifts and supper, making 22 in the afternoon. I love it when we can all get together.
Guess we will get enough snow this year. Stay warm.
