Rabies clinic Jan. 12 in Litchfield
LITCHFIELD — A rabies clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Central Fire Station, 2407 Hallowell Road.
Cost is $10.
Proceeds will benefit the Fuel Fund.
Residents of Litchfield can also license their dogs.
Chocolat! Jan. 19 benefits LMS
LEWISTON — The Chocolat! fundraiser for Lewiston Middle School will be held from 1 to 3:30 Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Green Ladle.
Sample pastries, cakes, truffles and many other delicacies produced by Lewiston/Auburn’s finest professional confectioners, and cast a vote for the best one. In addition, the culinary arts students from Lewiston Regional Technical Center will be producing snacks to complement the chocolate delicacies.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at Lewiston Middle School, Lewiston High School and the Green Ladle. Tickets will also be sold at the door on the day of the event.
Christian Skate Night is Jan. 19
TOPSHAM — Christian Skate Night sponsored by Grace Community Chapel in West Gardiner will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, at Topsham Roller World, 20 Atwood Drive.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, skate night will be held Monday, Jan. 20, at the same time.
Cost of $5 includes regular skates; inline skates are $2 extra.

Free Reiki practice session
LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing is offering a free Reiki practice session for anyone with Reiki experience. The session will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at the Dempsey Center, 29 Lowell St.
Dempsey Center Reiki Coordinator Meredith Kendall, R.N., MSN, will lead this open session for new Reiki practitioners to practice and share Reiki with others.
