POLAND — Emily Bolduc netted an impressive 26 points, nine of which were from behind the arc, as Poland edged past Fryeburg 61-54 in WMC girls’ basketball action.
Emily Bolduc sank a three pointer to send Poland into extra time where Bolduc and teammate Michaella Arsenault drained 9 of 10 free throws to secure the victory for the Knights (6-4). Arsenault recorded 12 points on the day while Sarah Bolduc tallied 13.
Skye Dole led the Lady Raiders (3-6) in scoring with 15 points on the day.
Leavitt 53, Erskine 40
TURNER — Meagan Dow posted a triple-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals to lead Leavitt to a 53-40 victory over Erskine Academy in KVAC girls’ basketball action on Monday night.
Chantel Eells also filled up the stat sheet for the Hornets (5-5), recording 11 points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots. Mallory Chamberlain led the Eagles (1-8) with nine points on three 3-pointers.
Oak Hill 54, Winthrop 13
WALES — Meagan Crosby poured in 10 points as Oak Hill knocked off Winthrop, 54-13, in MVC girls’ basketball action on Monday night.
Toni Hart, Iris Abbott and Haley Marshall each added six points for the Raiders (8-3). Alyssa Arsenault had five points to lead the Ramblers (0-12).
Sacopee Valley 28, Buckfield 19
BUCKFIELD — Dakota Miner led the scoring for the Hawks with 12 points as Sacopee Valley topped Buckfield 28-19 in girls’ basketball action.
Cassidy Sanborn paced the Hawks (5-4) with nine points on the day. Ashley Campbell led the Bucks (2-8) with seven points, while Brianna Damon and Naudia Wesley hauled in 11 and 10 rebounds respectively.
Wiscasset 44, Mt. Abram 33
SALEM — After a slow start, Mt. Abram came back in the second quarter to take a 16-13 halftime lead, but could not overcome a second-half rally as Wiscasset topped Mt. Abram 44-33 in an MVC girls’ basketball contest.
Kayla Gordon notched a game high 17 points for the Wolverines (2-9), five of which came from the charity line. Alora Ross and Alexa Harnden led the scoring for the Roadrunners (1-10) with 12 and 10 points respectively.

Monmouth 69, Carrabec 48
MONMOUTH — Monmouth had three scorers in double digits as the Mustangs rolled to a 69-48 victory over Carrabec in MVC boys’ basketball.
With Carrabec down two going into the third, Monmouth provided a dominant second half of scoring to improve to 5-4 on the season. Kasey Smith led the scoring effort for the Mustangs with 16 points, while Marques Houston and Brett Wilson netted 15 and 13 respectively.
Leavitt 53, Erskine 34
SOUTH CHINA — The Hornets put up an impressive second half, outscoring their competitor 28-9, as Leavitt toppled Erskine 53-34 in KVAC boys’ basketball.
Mitchel Davis had a stellar game for the Hornets, recording 13 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and four blocks. Leavitt (3-7) had ample scoring efforts from Zac Goulette and Eli Calder, who each tallied 10 points.
Wiscasset 77, Mt. Abram 52
SALEM — Wiscasset ran away in the final quarter of play, outscoring their opponent 30-18, as The Wolverines topped Mt. Abram 77-52 in MVC boys’ basketball action.
Travis Padilla hauled in a game high 18 points, while Dale Peaslee and Chandler Longfellow chipped in 10 points each for the Wolverines who improve to 7-4 on the season.
Mt. Abram was led by Tristian Dyer, who netted a team-high 16 points. Sol Fast pace the Roadrunners (1-9) with 10 points.
Spruce Mountain 65, Telstar 20
JAY — Scottie Hall led a well-spread offense with 13 points, as Spruce Mountain rolled past Telstar 65-20 in an MVC boys’ basketball game.
Deonte Ring and John McKenna paced the Phoenix (9-2) with 11 points each, while Tyler Kachnovich chipped in seven.
Fryeburg 60, Poland 52
POLAND — Ryan Gullikson dropped in an impressive 20 points to lift Fryeburg past Poland 60-52 in a WMC boys’ basketball contest on Monday night.
Jaiquan Causer netted 16 points for the Raiders, while Jonathan Burk recorded 10. Fryeburg led by seven at the half and held onto the lead to secure the victory and improve to 5-4 on the season.
Caleb Martin led the scoring effort for the Knights (4-6) with 16 points.
Boothbay 79, Mtn. Valley 36
BOOTHBAY — The Hepburn brothers combined for 38 points on the afternoon as they routed Mtn. Valley 79-36 in MVC boys basketball.
Evan Hepburn tallied a game high 20 points, while his brother John recorded 18 for the Seahawks (9-1). Caleb Gauvin led the scoring for the Falcons (1-9) with 12 points on the day.
Hampden 51, Lewiston 33
LEWISTON — Sophomore Brendan McIntyre drained a game high 21 points for the Broncos, who shot out to an early lead and never looked back to top Lewiston 51-33 in boys’ basketball action on Monday.
Zack Gilpin chipped in 10 points for the Broncos, who remain undefeated on the season (10-0) and atop of the Class A East standings.
Isaiah Harris notched a team high 12 points for the Blue Devils, who fall to 4-7 on the season.
Buckfield 62, Sacopee Valley 50
BUCKFIELD — Buckfield raced out to a 23-11 lead after one quarter, then made hay at the free throw line the rest of the way to hold off Sacopee Valley, 62-50, in a physical boys’ basketball tilt on Monday night.
Jared Eastman led all scorers with 26 points, including nine of the Bucks’ 21 free throws on the night.
Lisbon 39, Hall-Dale 36
LISBON — Kendal Roy led a balanced Lisbon box score with nine points and the Greyhounds rode a strong second quarter to a 39-36 victory over Hall-Dale in MVC boys’ basketball action on Monday night.
Lisbon trailed 10-7 after one, but outscored the Bulldogs, 16-6, in the second quarter to take a seven-point lead into halftime, then limited the visitors to five points in the fourth quarter to preserve the win.

St. Dom’s 5, Lawrence/Skowhegan 3
WINSLOW — Caleb Labrie sealed the deal with a third period goal, as St. Dom’s topped Lawrence 5-3 in boys’ ice hockey action on Monday night.
Mitch Lorenz paced the Saints’ offense with a score and two assists, while goaltender Zack Roy turned back 17 shots to secure the victory for St. Dom’s (4-3-1).
Andrew Carpenter, Cody Martin and Chase Nelson found the back of the net for Lawrence/Skowhegan.
