LEWISTON — In an event that will be held to benefit the Dempsey Challenge, from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Green Ladle, 156 East Avenue, “Focus on Love” photography gallery exhibit/show visitors will be able to vote for a photograph to be selected for the “People’s Choice” award.
Decadent desserts prepared by the Green Ladle will be available. Raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win one of an assortment of baskets from a variety of local businesses.
Other photo categories will be judged by a panel of three local photography experts: Russell Dillingham, chief photographer for the Sun Journal; Daniel Marquis, landscape and nature photographer; and Tamera Grieshaber, curator of the Lyceum Gallery. The winning photographs will be announced at 8 p.m.
