CARTHAGE — The owner of a house on Virgin Drive flagged down a Franklin County sheriff’s deputy Sunday to report a window had been pried open to get inside, Sheriff Scott Nichols said Monday.

Nothing was taken, but the bed appeared to have been slept in, Nichols said.
