LEWISTON (AP) — Small business owners are getting the chance to learn about their options under the federal health care law.
Maine Health Access Foundation and the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce are hosting an Affordable Care Act forum on Tuesday at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn Campus.
The event designed for businesses for 50 or fewer employees will provide an overview of the health care law and it’s Small Business Health Options Program.
Speakers include representatives from Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield add Maine Community Health Options, the two companies offering coverage on the exchange in Maine. Maine is one of the 36 states using the federally-run exchange.
