Sen. Angus King visits Head Start in Auburn

King had lunch with students and parents and talked with staff about federal cuts that removed 15 students from the program, Head Start Director Betsy Norcross Plourde said. The U.S. Senate has since restored the money. “The funds will allow us to bring children back,” Norcross Plourde said. “We know we have a need.
