The event schedule is as follows. Asterisks indicate events where proceeds will benefit the Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Club Trail Fund.
Thursday, Jan. 23
Chili-Chowder Cook-off, 5 p.m., Bald Mountain Camps
Casino Night with Silent Auction*, 7 p.m., Gingerbread House
Friday, Jan. 24
Manufacture demo rides will be held Friday and Saturday at participating dealers. See dealers for times.
10 a.m., Dealer Demo Family Ride with lunch, Oquossoc
4 to 9 p.m., Welcome to Snodeo*, Rangeley Inn
5 p.m., Blessing of the Sleds, Town Park
6:30 p.m., RLSC Live Auction featuring auctioneer Larry Koob*, Rangeley Inn
9 p.m., Lucky 50/50 ticket drawn*
Saturday, January 25
8:30 a.m. to noon, Radar Run at Haley Pond registration,* Rangeley Inn
9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with last run at 12:45), Radar Run all classes,* Haley Pond. All snowmobiles participating in the Radar Run must have a functional tether switch or throttle override.
8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Poker Run Rangeley & Oquossoc,* Rangeley Inn. Registration will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the inn. Prizes: first place, $100; second, $75; third, $50.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m., displays and vendors, Rangeley Inn
9 a.m. to 3 p.m., participating dealers Used Sled Corral, Rangeley Inn
10 a.m. to 3 p.m., family marshmallow roast, Field Headquarters, compliments of the Wilhelm Reich Museum Discovery Room
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., helicopter scenic flights, Haley Pond
10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., making of gingerbread men, Gingerbread House
12:30 to 3 p.m., family canoe sleigh rides, Haley Pond, compliments of RLSC
1 p.m., Treasure Scramble for ages 8 and under, Field Headquarters, with special prizes.
1 to 2:30 p.m., Monty The Moose, Snodeo mascot, Field Headquarters
2 p.m., Rave X Show, Boss Power Equipment
4 p.m., awards ceremony and raffle drawing, Rangeley Inn
5:30 p.m., parade line-up, Rangeley Inn
6 p.m., snowmobile parade with Monty the Moose, Rangeley Inn. Float trophies will be awarded at the Town and Lake Motel.
Following parade there will be a fireworks display by Atlas, Lakeside Park, weather permitting.
Dinners and entertainment will take place at local establishments in the evening.
All events are subject to change due to weather and other conditions. Check at headquarters for schedule changes. It is a privilege to ride on private land; do not abuse the privilege. It is against the law to ride on public ways, sidewalks and plowed roads. Stay on marked trails. Snowmobiles may be registered at Rangeley Town Hall, The Plantation Hall and Boss Power Equipment.
