The Heart of the Mountains shelter in Bethel has three dogs and a kitten available for adoption. They are Red, a high energy, playful American Bulldog; Cinco (shown here), a high energy, purebred Husky, almost 2 years old; and Sampson, about 6-7 years old, Plott Hound, somewhat of a special needs dog ( best if he can find a home with a routine, regular exercise and no babies). Found just this week is a kitten, unnamed, injured, in need of caring, loving home and more medical attention.
