ORONO — Sophie Weckstrom led all scorers with 16 points to send the University of Maine to a 65-53 win over Binghamton in women’s college basketball action on Sunday.
Liz Wood chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds for the Black Bears (13-11).

CMCC 120, NMCC 66
AUBURN — All 18 Mustangs scored as Central Maine Community College got back on the winning track and took apart Northern Maine Community College, 120-66, on Sunday.
Carrington Miller led the way with 15 points and 10 rebounds for CMCC (23-2), which had suffered its second loss of the season the night before in Presque Isle.  Jalen Lincoln led all scorers 18 points.
