MEXICO — A public meeting by the Maine Department of Transportation on Thursday evening at the Town Office has been canceled due to the expected snowstorm.
It will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 4.
Members of the MDOT Bridge Program will speak to Peru and Mexico residents about replacing the Androscoggin River Bridge, more commonly known as the Toll Bridge, that connects the two towns.
Wayne Frankhauser of the MDOT Bridge Program said in previously that the bridge “had reached the end of its useful life.”
