LEWISTON — City Democrats will caucus at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Farwell Elementary School. Doors will open at noon and city clerks will be available to register voters.
Congressman Michael Michaud, D-Maine, is scheduled to speak.
Democrats will elect delegates to the state convention, scheduled in Bangor on May 30-31. They will also elect Lewiston Democratic City Committee officers and County Democratic Committee members.
Attendees are asked to bring any cellphone they no longer need; the phones will be mailed to the Cell Phones for Soldiers program to get “call home” time for members of the military.
