GREENE — A vacant home at 681 Sawyer Road was destroyed by fire Monday morning.
According to WMTW-TV, the fire was reported at approximately 1 a.m. and firefighters had it under control by 3 a.m.
The two-bedroom home was across the road from Sabattus Lake and was up for sale.
The state Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate the cause.
