Luce’s combined time of 1:16.05 easily topped runner-up Erin Guilmet of Maranacook (1:22.65) at Mt. Abram in Greenwood.

Maranacook’s Alec Daigle won the boys’ slalom in 1:13.74, followed by Lalor Crockett of Camden Hills. Maranacook took five of the top six spots to cruise to the slalom, Alpine and overall Class B titles.

Freeport finished second in the Alpine standings, followed by Camden Hills, Gray-New Gloucester, Spruce Mountain and Mt. Abram. Freeport was also the runner-up for the boys’ combined team results, with Yarmouth, Gray-New Gloucester and Mt. Abram rounding out the top five.

Yarmouth beat Cape Elizabeth by 12 points in the slalom standings, but that wasn’t enough for them to catch the Capers for the overall girls’ Alpine title, 63-76. Camden, Maranacook and Mt. Abram rounded out the top five.

Yarmouth did capture the combined title, however, topping Maranacook, Freeport, Cape Elizabeth and Gray-New Gloucester.

Other local top finishers in the girls’ slalom were Emily Listowich of Mt. Abram (10th), Keaton McEvoy (13th) and Caitlin Holmquist (16th) of Gray-New Gloucester and Paige Butterfield of Spruce Mountain (19th).

Top local finishers in the boys’ slalom were Noah Lobozzo (10th) and Eric Wilcox (13th) of Gray-New Gloucester, and Spruce Mountain’s Stephan Sylvester (16th) and Lucas Alley (20th).

With at least top-18 finishes in each of the four events (slalom, giant slalom, Nordic classic and skate), McEvoy won the girls’ skimeister competition. Wilcox never finished worse than 13th in each event to easily earn the boys’ skimeister title.
