TURNER — Registration is now open for SAD 52 Adult and Community Education, which is offering a wide variety of classes from arts and crafts to health and wellness.
Aura Reading: Our aura is an energetic field around the body that changes with our moods and condition. Learn how to read yours in a two-night class on Tuesday and Thursday, March 11 and 13.
Beyond the Point-and-Shoot Camera: Learn the basic and advanced controls of a digital single-lens reflex camera in this class beginning March 12. Modes, auto PSA and manual will be covered, along with setting white balance, continuous, and difficult situations, and uses for different lenses. Students need a DSLR camera and manual.
Clay with Kids: On Saturday, March 15, adults and children will work together to make bracelets using “sculpey” clay. Your handmade beads will include animals, cupcakes, shapes and tons of fun.
Girls, Gear and Gadgets: Learn about the gear required (and some not) for a comfortable, safe day of fly-fishing. Discover what to ask for when purchasing and what to avoid. Examples of gear and gadgets will be on display, and maintenance issues for some gear will be covered. This class is for ladies of any age on Saturday, March 15.
