- Congratulations to the seventh- and eight-grade boys’ Central Maine Youth Basketball Champions. The travel team Patriot Renewables is comprised of players from Dirigo, Holy Savior and Mountain Valley. Patriot Renewables defeated Auburn in the semifinals with a 46-37 victory and went on to defeat Gardiner in the league championships, 57-53 to end the season with a perfect 14-0 record. Members of the team are, first row: Chandler Redmond, Keegan Davis, Will Sorenson, Sam Holmes and Jacob Blanchard; second row: Coach Chris Chiasson, Jarod McIssac, Cooper Chiasson, Tyler Brown, Cam Turner, Luke Lenders, Alex Gorham and coach Jaime Robinson.
