Bake sale, quilt raffle postponed
CHESTERVILLE — A bake sale and quilt raffle scheduled for Monday, March 10, at the Chesterville Town Office has been postponed.
It was to be held in conjunction with the Chesterville Town Voting Day prior to the evening’s town meeting. Voting will not take place on that day. The sale and raffle will be held when voting day is rescheduled.
Free Loaves & Fishes lunch
FARMINGTON — A free Loaves & Fishes fish chowder lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Wednesday through March 26, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Road.
All are welcome.
No luncheons are held on days that school is canceled.

TGIF Potluck Supper is March 14
NEW PORTLAND — The Western Mountains Baptist Church is hosting their monthly TGIF Potluck Supper at 6 p.m. Friday, March 14. Everyone is welcome to bring along a dish to share or to just show up; there is always plenty of room and food for everybody.

Free seniors St. Patrick’s luncheon
CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Free Senior Citizen St. Patrick’s Day luncheon will be served at noon Monday, March 17, in the Chesterville Town Office on the Dutch Gap Road.
Attendees will be greeted with festive green decorations and enjoy ham, cabbage, carrots, mashed potatoes pickled beets, a vegetarian alternative of veggie pasta, along with decorated cupcakes, ice cream and sugar-free ice cream.
Entertainment and a free magazine table will be provided. This event is sponsored by the North Chesterville Extension Homemakers.

RRG&SA meeting set for March 20
OQUOSSOC — Ken Beaulieu, event director for Fly-fishing In Maine, and Bonnie Holding, Maine Guide and Casting For Recovery program director, will be the featured speakers at the monthly RRG&SA meeting on Thursday, March 20.
Casting For Recovery is a program hosted by the RRG&SA each June providing breast cancer survivors an all-day guided fishing trip in the Rangeley Region and a hearty dinner at the clubhouse.
Monthly meetings are open to the public at no cost. The potluck dinner begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by a short club meeting and then Casting For Recovery presentation.
