MINOT — At the January meeting of the Minot Historical Society the following officers were elected: Hester Gilpatric, president; George Buker, vice-president; Nicole Hastings, secretary; Eda Tripp, treasurer.

A fundraising committee was formed. Co-chairmen are Whitney King-Buker and Nicole Hastings. The committee will meet at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Eda Tripp’s home.

The next society meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at the Town Office. Greg Letourneau will speak about wind turbines. All are welcome.

The society is selling chances on a quilt made and donated by Jeanne Letourneau to benefit the building fund. The lucky name will be drawn later in the spring.
