- Skating Association of Maine (SAM) “Maine Moose” U-14 girls’ division hockey of Hallowell won the first-place championship trophy in the 2014 Bay State U-14 in Dover, N.H., against Lewiston. The Moose also took first-place gold in the Southern Maine DU Hockey Tournament against Cape Ann, Mass. Thank you coaches for getting us there! The Maine Moose was an amazing team and went undefeated this season. Team members are: Kiara Deagen, Charlotte Kirk, Mikayla Turner, Averi Taylor, Haley Gagne, Lily Schenk, Lilly Bergeron, Thekla Jubinville, Synna Soberg, Jessica Clavet, Anna Dodge, Anna Schaab, Julia Nadeau, Ellie Saucier, Delaney Keithley, and Maddie Murphy. Team Coaches are Dennis Gagne Jr., Mike Murphy, Mike Saucier and Andy Schenk.
