MECHANIC FALLS — Auburn Manufacturing announces that Steven Boulet has joined the company as human resources manager. In his new position, Boulet will be responsible for developing and implementing programs for AMI’s growing workforce, including recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, compliance and workplace safety.

Boulet brings 20 years of experience in manufacturing and human resources to his new position. He recently served as director of administration/human resources for WahlcoMetroflex in Lewiston where, in addition to HR responsibilities, he introduced lean manufacturing and implemented an ISO-9000 program.

Boulet also serves on a number of boards, including the Manufacturing Association of Maine, where he is former chairman, and the Lewiston Development Corporation.
