- Mechanics Savings Bank recently donated $1,000 to Advocates for Children. The funds will be used to support programs that promote the well-being of the community’s children. Advocates for Children works to keep children safe, prevent child maltreatment and provide parents and families with information and skills that empower them to lead healthy, productive lives. At the donation were Rick Vail, president of Mechanics Savings Bank, and Pam Allen, executive director of Advocates for Children.
