MONMOUTH — The Henry T. Cottrell School will hold registrations for 4-year-olds from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 1-2.
The Cottrell School in collaboration with Southern Kennebec Child Development Corp. Headstart will provide a program for 4-year-olds during the morning in the fall for children who meet established criteria and a preschool program in the afternoon.
Both programs will be located at the Henry L. Cottrell School.
Children must be 4 years of age on or before Oct. 15.
The child will be checked for height, weight, vision and hearing as well as a brief screening with a Cottrell staff member.
Registration for children entering kindergarten this fall, from Monmouth, who have not previously been in the pre-K program will be held in the morning Thursday, May 8, and in the afternoon Friday, May 9.
Children must be 5 years of age on or before Oct. 15.
A copy of the child’s original birth certificate, Social Security card and health record including immunization dates will be needed.
The child will be checked for height, weight, vision and hearing.
