Legion Riders plan tween dance
MECHANIC FALLS — American Legion Riders Post 150 will hold a Tween Dance from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 28, at 41 Elm St.
The dance is for grades 4-6. There will be contests, snacks and door prizes. DJ will be Just Kendra. The cost is $5.
Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on March 24 were as follows: first, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; second, Marta Clements and Dick Allen; third, Nancy Lindgren and Rosemarie Goodwin.
Winners of the quarterly club championship on March 25 were: first, Kathy Burden and Mary Trafton, first overall in A & B; second, Kay Bagwell and Rosemarie Goodwin, second overall in A; third, Jeanine Kivus and Luke Merry, third overall; fourth/fifth tie, Claire Lyons and Roger Labbe, second overall in B, with Les Buzzell and Tom Goodwin.
The Monday quarterly club championship will be played March 31 at 9 a.m.
Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.

Bethel Senior Citizens Club
BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the Locke Mills Union Church.
The menu is casseroles, breads, salad, soup and other choices.
Cost is $10.
Reservations must be made before April 1 by calling Arlene Lowell at 824-2877. No reservations will be taken after April 1.
Deering Memorial free breakfasts
PARIS — Deering Memorial United Methodist Church continues to host free community breakfasts from 8 to 9 a.m. each Sunday.
Each week a Breakfast Team serves up a homemade hot breakfast. The menu changes weekly with some of the most popular recipes featured such as baked stuffed French toast, homemade cinnamon rolls, egg casseroles, home fries, pancakes and more. There is always cereal, toast, coffee, juice and fruit.
Organizers welcome help or donations of breakfast supplies. A free-will offering is available for anyone wishing to donate towards the cost of the breakfast.
The church is on the corner of Main and Church streets and is accessible. Parking is available behind the library.

WEST PARIS — The Neighborhood Niche Food Pantry will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, April 1 and 15, at West Paris Baptist Church, 15 Church St.
The pantry is open the first and third Tuesday of each month. West Paris residents are invited to come once a month.
Spurrs Corner food pantry hours
OTISFIELD — The food pantry at Spurrs Corner Church, Route 121, will be open Tuesdays, April 1 and 15, from 10 a.m. to noon.
