Legion plans Easter Bunny breakfast
MECHANIC FALLS — Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 13, at American Legion Post 150, 41 Elm St.
Seniors, $6; adults, $7; children under 3 free. Includes breakfast, pictures with the Easter Bunny and crafts.
Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners of the quarterly club championship at the Lewiston Armory on March 31 were as follows: first, Marta Clements and Dick Allen; second, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock.

Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.

Hartford-Sumner kindergarten
SUMNER — Hartford-Sumner Elementary School, serving the towns of Hartford, Sumner and Buckfield, will hold kindergarten registration and screening for the 2014 kindergarten class from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17 and 18.
All children who register must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15.
To register contact the school office at 388-2681. Be prepared to provide the child’s name, address, telephone number and date of birth. Parents must bring an official copy of the child’s birth certificate. Screenings last approximately one hour.
All students must be registered and screened prior to enrollment, including current preschoolers.
Paris Library plans Easter party
PARIS — An Easter party at the Paris Public Library will celebrate Easter and springtime from noon to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, April 19, in the children’s room. Everyone is welcome. There will be an Easter egg hunt, stories and crafts.

Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club
OXFORD — Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met April 4 at the Rec. Building. A six-table Howell movement was enjoyed.
Finishing first in flight A were Dottie Kelleher (Westbrook) and Mike True (Auburn); second, David Lock (Greene) and Luke Merry (Gray); third, Neenie Kivus (Lewiston) and Dick Allen (New Gloucester); fourth, Joanne Skinner (Portland) and Paul Kahl (Westbrook), who also were first in flight B.
Second in flight B were Cynthia and Bill Clifford Jr. (Lewiston) who also were first in flight C; third, Hazel Glazier ( Norway) and Marta Clements ( Woodstock).
Second in flight C were Milt McKeen (Bridgton) and Jim Krainin (Naples); third, Elaine Dresser (Bethel) and Denny Raymond (Waterford).

‘Son-rise’ Service, Easter breakfast
OXFORD — Grace Fellowship Church of Poplar Avenue will host a “Son-rise” Service and Easter breakfast on Sunday, April 20. The service will be held at 6:30 with breakfast to follow.
The menu will consist of pancakes, real maple syrup, sausage, eggs, home-fries, beans, boiled eggs, fruit, hot-cross buns, orange juice and coffee.
Vendors sought for Founder’s Day
PARIS — The Hamlin Memorial Library & Museum is accepting vendor applications for the annual Founder’s Day event which will take place on Saturday, July 19.
