MEXICO — The Mexico Historical Society will hold their spring meeting Monday, April 21, at the Calvin Lyons Room, in back of the Town Office.

There will be a potluck supper at 5 p.m. followed by a general meeting.

Discussion will be on plans for 2014.

The Maine Memory Network RSU 10 Project in ongoing. Old photos of Mexico for the upcoming scanning project are wanted, especially photos of servicemen and women of Mexico who served in any branch and any war or conflict, including the Civil War. The photos will be returned after scanning.

MEXICO — The Relay for Life team Friends and Family Forever has planned two fundraisers.

A Pampered Chef party will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Kim Chiasson’s home, 178 Poplar Hill Road.

A Scentsy party is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Mexico Green Church.

Vacation Bible School planned

DIXFIELD — Dixfield Congregational Church invites children to Blast Off Vacation Bible School, launching kids on a mission of God’s love.

A kids’ event called Blast Off will be hosted at the Dixfield Congregational Church from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 25, and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26.

At Blast Off, kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, enjoy treats and experience multi-sensory Bible adventures.

Each day concludes with Mission Sendoff, a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they have learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time.

A special Sunday Celebration will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 27, to wrap up this weekend VBS. Blast Off is for kids ages 3 and up. For more information, call 357-5477.

70th annual Birthday Supper

ANDOVER — The 70th annual Birthday Supper will be held Saturday, April 26, at Andover Congregational Church. Sittings will be at 5 and 6 p.m.

Tables are decorated for each month and season of the year.

Grange plans rummage, food sale
