The deadline to return nomination papers for elected municipal officers and RSU 73 directors is nearing in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls.
The deadline to return papers to town offices is April 25. Elections will take place at the polls in each town on June 10.
In Jay, incumbent Thomas Goding and Matt McCourt have returned papers for a three-year, fifth selectperson seat. Papers have not been returned for the three-year, fourth selectperson seat. It is held by Tim DeMillo.
RSU 73 Director Shari Ouellette has returned papers for a two-year seat on the school board. Papers have not been returned for a second, three-year seat. That position is held by Kathryn McAninch.
Nomination papers for a three-year seat on the Jay Village Water District were submitted by Gerald Hutchinson.
In Livermore, no one has returned papers for a three-year seat on the Board of Selectpersons. The seat is held by John Wakefield. Peter Castonguay has returned papers for another two-year term.
Renda Guild has returned papers for the two-year town clerk position, a post she has held for several years.
No papers have been returned for the two-year treasurer’s term. Amy Byron was appointed interim treasurer when former Treasurer Kurt Schaub left to become Turner town manager April 4.
Cindy Young has also returned papers for another three-year term on the RSU 73 board.
In Livermore Falls, Bill Demaray has returned papers for another three-year term on the Board of Selectmen. No one has returned papers for a two-year selectmen position held by Kenny Jacques.
Papers have not been returned for a three-year seat on the RSU 73 board. Denise Rodzen holds that position.
