JAY — Funeral services for Alberta K. Carter were held Tuesday, April 22, at Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton, with the Rev. Steve Bracy of Living Waters Church, Routes 2 and 4, Farmington, officiating.

Family and friends offered eulogies and prose, and family friend Barry Wood sang one of Alberta’s favorites, “My Way,” and “You Raise Me Up.”

Following services, a comfort reception was held in the Living Waters Church vestry. Committal services will be held later in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton.
