WATERVILLE — Area students were named to the dean’s list at Colby College for their outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2013-14 year.
Xiaojie Chen, a sophomore, is the son of Liting and Sumei Chen of Wilton, and attended Mount Blue High School.
Anna M. Doyle, a junior, is the daughter of Stephen and Mary Doyle of Winthrop, and attended Winthrop High School.
Kendra E. Elie, a sophomore, is the daughter of Jonathan and Melissa Elie of Leeds, and attended Leavitt Area High School.
Kyle E. Hawkins, a senior, is the son of Nels and Samantha Hawkins of Jay, and attended Spruce Mountain High School.
Anna N. Herling, a junior, is the daughter of Douglas and Linda Herling of Bowdoin, and attended Cheverus High School.
Joshua D. Hews, a first-year student, is the son of Mark and Deborah Hews of Poland, and attended Hebron Academy.
Samantha J. Jones, a junior, is the daughter of Kirk Jones and Kathy Saarinen of Buckfield, and attended Buckfield Junior Senior HS.
Deanna M. Morris, a first-year student, is the daughter of John and Patricia Morris of New Gloucester, and attended Maranacook Community School.
David K. Thomas, a junior, is the son of David and Olivia Thomas of Bowdoin, and attended Mount Ararat School.
