AUBURN — The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, recently donated $20,000 to Good Shepherd Food Bank as part of the bank’s commitment to giving back to the community.

The funds will be used for the Agency Match Program, which offers a fundraising match for the Food Bank’s hunger relief partners to leverage additional support in their local communities.

Kristen Miale, president of Good Shepherd Food Bank, said the large gift “will make a significant difference for these local organizations on the front lines of fighting hunger in Maine.”
