- Jane Morrison, right, Safe Voices executive director, holds a check with Kelley Glidden, Safe Voices director of Community Education. Safe Voices recently received $1,000 from Verizon’s HopeLine project to support holiday programming for victims of domestic violence. The money will go toward gift cards for the individuals served by Safe Voices, located in Auburn. The holiday season can be difficult for families starting over after leaving an abusive situation with few resources, and this assistance will help those families to be able to have a happy and festive holiday. Safe Voices is assisting 84 families in need through its Adopt a Family program this Christmas season.
