LIVERMORE — All of the town’s workplace safety violations have been corrected, according to a letter to the town from Pamela Taylor, director of Bureau Labor Standards, dated April 30.

The town had a potential $1,600 fine reduced to $160, interim town Administrative Assistant Renda Guild said Wednesday.

The town was cited for 23 workplace safety violations in January after the state conducted an inspection Dec. 16 at the town’s Highway Garage, Fire Station, Town Office and Transfer Station. Many of the violations pertained to paperwork or training.

The fine is due May 30.

It was a team effort to get the violations corrected, Guild said. She credited the town’s department heads for doing what needed to be done and making sure corrective action was taken.
