- Hundreds of area firefighters and friends of Norway Fire Department Capt. David Millett gathered Thursday afternoon at the Norway Fire Station for the funeral of the 62-year-old veteran firefighter. Fire Chief Dennis Yates removed the remains of Millett from Engine 2 as members of the department saluted their fallen brother. Millett died Saturday, May 10, after fighting a structure fire hours earlier.
