- Saint Dominic Academy student Rick Lacombe receives communion from Bishop Robert Peter Deeley during a Mass at the Auburn school on Monday morning. During the month of May, the bishop will visit 28 different churches throughout Maine to celebrate confirmation and first Eucharist Masses for hundreds of Catholic children in the Diocese of Portland. Along the way, the bishop is stopping at many of the diocese’s Catholic schools to introduce himself as he continues to gain familiarity with the state he now calls home.
